There are many laptops to choose from and many of them by HP. After many hours of comparison shopping on Amazon, I finally decided to buy this baby which had no reviews - good or bad. I am mostly an email and game player on my laptop. This machine with its beautiful graphics plays many of my old software games and makes newer ones shine. The download speed via wifi is excellent and the 17 inch screen is like using a desktop without all the additional hookups and attachments.
Still not a fan of Windows 7 because most comfortable with Windows HP but that has nothing to do with the hardware. Have not found any faults yet and use it every day. And it now has a review for those interested.

Compared to my old laptop, this one is beyond fantastic. First off, the screen is quite pretty, and shows off Blu-Rays nicely. The speakers never sound muffled or scratchy, even at high volumes. As far as power goes, I was able to run Final Fantasy XII in PCSX2 0.9.9, in 720p, at 60FPS, and that particular emulator is known for being very demanding. I've heard that Beats is a useless feature, but it certainly doesn't hurt, as my music sounded great. The battery life is also nice, going for 4~6 hours. In general, I haven't had any problems, and if I ever need any new tech, I plan on depending on HP.

i ordered a HP DV7-6C60US 17.3-Inch Laptop and it initially arrived within 3 days after the order which was great, however it was not working, i immediately contacted the store and they agreed to replace it. i am now using the replacement and its great, the service was exceptional
